Saturday

I'd planned on getting up before sunrise to try making a time lapse movie of sunrise over a field of sunflowers. But 4:30 in the morning was just too early. So all you're going to get from me on this one is the standard shot of some nice color as the first light of the day hits the flowers.

To end the day Miranda and I headed up to Sac to watch fireworks after the Rivercats game. Unbeknownst to me, and the owners of about 10 other cars on the same block, parking in a bike lane even when there are no 'No Paking' signs and the curb is unpainted is punishable by a heavy fine in Sacramento. While the fireworks picture is nice it ain't worth $50, at least not to me. (However, if any of you would like to purchase this fine piece of art, which will surely be a highly valued classic someday, I will certainly entertain offers.) Wish me luck in convincing the city to agree with me.
