Whale Watching

There was a little blurb in the paper about the first migrating california gray whales being sighted off Point Reyes. So Miranda and I decided to head out and see if we could see something, too. To get to the light house, the farthest reaching point into the ocean, we had to hike down 30 stories worth of stairs. Here's Mir near the end

Unfortunately it was too windy and too early in the season to see any whales. So we headed down Hwy 1 to give Mir a good look at the Golden Gate. We got to see the sunset over some of the estuaries.

We made it to the bridge and since we were there I took a few shots. Which one do you all like better?

or

one last shot of the city
